Kathleen Ayers | Press Release: You Tube Marketing - Are There Alternatives?

Internet marketing can take on many different forms, and video marketing is one of the most popular. After all, the internet allows for a multi-media experience, and people like watching videos. However, YouTube has recently started to remove marketing videos from its site, so there is a need for YouTube alternatives for marketing.

There is no question that YouTube is the most popular video sharing site online, and will likely remain at the top for a long time to come. What this means is that you should still make use of YouTube if at all possible, but you need to make sure you go about it the right way. The key is to avoid any overt marketing in your videos. This includes the content of the video as well as the information you add when you upload your videos. If you do it right you will be able to keep your videos on YouTube, but it's still smart to have a few alternatives ready to go if your account gets shut down.  Below are a couple that you can use.  Try them out.

1.  Brightcove.com
Brightcove does things a little differently because it allows you to basically create your own online TV station. It's easy to do and you can add your own videos as well as videos created by other people. The cool part is that it's syndicated with other popular video sites on the internet. The ability to earn additional income through ad revenue or video sales is just the icing on the cake.

2.  Dailymotion.com
Dailymotion is one of the best known YouTube alternatives for marketing, and it has a lot to offer those who have an online business presence. You can easily upload videos, but there is more to it than that. There is also a B2B (business-to-business) feature called the Dailymotion Cloud that helps you to use video for your marketing purposes. The player can be customized for your users, and it allows your videos to be viewed on a variety of platforms.

If you are looking for YouTube alternatives for marketing you don't have to rely on video-only websites. In fact, just about any site that supports videos can be used for marketing purposes, though you may have to use your own bandwidth to host your videos. Social networking sites are some of the best alternatives because people use them to share things with each other, and if they're sharing your video, then that means your marketing message is spreading.

To your success

Blogs – Are You Following These Basics?

It seems that whenever we surf the internet, we see blogs, blogs and more blogs.  They are everywhere!  Go ahead, test it for yourself and see what I am talking about!  Just type the word blog into any search engine and see what happens.  You will see is millions of results for the word blog.  Because the popularity of blogs is still increasing, people have deemed them as reliable sources of information. This is because a lot of blogs are created by normal every day people.  But in the same aspect businesses also create blogs to increase traffic to their websites.
What if you run into factors that are unreliable?  How do you go about fixing these unreliable factors?  For starters, it is suggested that all bloggers should adhere to a natural set of blogging rules. These are rules that are not in any way set in stone, but they are basic rules that anyone should follow.  Most of your rules should follow the blogging ethics guidelines as these are a very important set of ethics to follow.  In applying the rules to your blog there are 5 basic rules you should apply to your own site.

1. Check your facts
This is a very important rule and it just makes sense.  Make sure you check your facts before posting anything on your blog. Do some research on your topic and make sure the information that you have is correct. Doing basic research can save you from posting false information.  When you post false information you will look bad and you will lose visitors to your site.  Even after you have posted your blog check and make sure everything is correct. The more you check your facts the better off you will be. This is something I do constantly with what I post on blog.  Information and the internet are constantly changing and we have to move with that change.

Kathleen Ayers | Press Release: Networking Without Being Fake: Follow These 8 Tips

I have attended many MLM marketing events where there were a lot of networking going on. Some people in the industry were clueless when it came to networking.  It was a constant pitch about their businesses and why I should be on their team.  If I looked as though I was not interested, they did not have time for me. They were not interested in connecting and maybe finding out who I was as a person and what my business was about or just to know if I had business.  Who knew?  Maybe I knew someone that would have been a good fit for what they were promoting.

As business entrepreneurs, whether online or offline, we need to revisit some good old fashioned "Face-to-face" type networking where it was not unusual to find people "Schmoozing" or "Rubbing elbows" with other entrepreneurs while building and establishing a rapport with one another.  But, we need to be empowred with some basics on how to do this kind of networking without looking like we are faking it.

Kathleen Ayers | Press Release: The Lemonade Principle

The Lemonade Principle is about entrepreneurs who take chance events, or unforseen circumstances,  in their lives or businesses and turn them into advantages.

As a kid growing up with parents who always stressed entrepreneurship and encountered a lot of lemons until they got it right, was when the phrase, "turning lemons into lemonades" became clear to me.  As a budding teenage entrepreneur myself, I dabbled in fashion designing and met with quite a few lemons, but learn how to turn those lemons into lemonade. That lemonade became my source of supplemental income throughout my college years and my first fifteen years on my J.O.B..  It is my belief that all of us, if we are pushed against the well, will be the first to bring out our lemonade stand. :-) Lol! Maybe we are just wired that way.

Link Building Programs – What Are The Advantages?

You can go about building links to your website manually, hire someone to do it for you, or you can take advantage of link building programs. The first method can be very cheap in terms of monetary value, but very expensive in terms of precious time. This is why many look into the latter options of either hiring a service to handle this aspect of their business, or using one of the link building programs or software, or both.

It's not a bad idea to start out doing things on your own at first, so you can obtain a general understanding of how it all works. But as you go on, you may very well decide that you are ready to invest in some sort of help for your link building. When you are going through the slow and tedious process of manually gathering incoming links throughout the internet, you will likely realize that your ability to efficiently maximize your website's success potential is limited. How will you compete with the sites that have thousands of links if you can only do yours one at a time?  The answer is you can patiently do it and just wait out the years that it will take you, or you can seek a faster way.   Read on...

Want More Traffic? Try These Ideas!

Everyone wants traffic to their website. It is not always

easy to get more people to visit your site. There are ways

to generate the desired traffic.  I want to share these ideas

I have learned that will help.

1. Use Flickr. Social photo sharing drives people to your

website. Add good tags to the photos so they attract the

members on the site. Write a post in your blog and add the

link to the Flickr site. The two sites will work in unison

to draw traffic to your site.

2. Join a social bookmarking site. Share your favorite sites

with other people sharing the same interests. Include your

website. The social sites are like a specific search engine

for many people. Add the bookmarks to your blog site to

increase your internet traffic. Add interesting links to

relevant products that the users are searching for. The

more interesting links you have bookmarked the larger your

following will become.

3. Start blogging. Join several sites where you comment

on the blog posts. Add your URL with posting. Keep in mind

you are commenting on your posts so remain focused on the

topic since you do not want your posting to be deleted or

considered as spam. You want to appear knowledgeable and

someone others can trust.

4. Use forum signatures for promotion of your site with a

live link. Use topics with great information and link them

back to your sties. The more information you provide the

readers the more they will rely on you for your new

information. They will return repeatedly to read what you

are posting.

5. Add widgets, themes, and extension to your site. There

are many free additions that will enhance your site. Make

your site interesting rather than the typical boring website.

Make your site user friendly and exciting. Users want to

see and experience new things, give it to them with your site.

6. Submit your feed to blog site directories. The feed will drive

traffic from another site to your site.

Last but not least:

7. Submit articles to article directories, using the resource box

to drive traffic to your site and establish strong backlinks to your

site; for the Search Engines.

When you do your traffic building, it is not really about the traffic

but offering what the readers want. When you reach out to them with

information and products you service a valuable purpose.

To your success.
