MLMs - How to Spot the Best

How Do You Spot the Best MLM Companies

The "Best MLMs" is a term that many newcomers to the industry, as well as existing MLMers who are considering joining a new opportunity, seek when doing their research. In reality, this term is very subjective -- what is important to the person who is offering the information may not be as important to you. However there are certain aspects of MLMs that are generally good indicators of the opportunity's potential to grant you what you are looking for--here are some of them.

Stability
This aspect of best MLMs is rather controversial in nature. Some successful MLMers will insist that the best way to profit in network marketing is to get in on a launch opportunity. These are usually people who have already been successful with other companies and are interested in trying their hand at something new. However, new MLM companies are born every day. And new MLM companies die every day too. They are more risky, so make sure you do your research on financial backing, leadership, and team support before you jump on the bandwagon. A basic rule of thumb is to go with companies that have been around for at least five years.

MLM Leadership – Do You Influence Others?

I have heard the saying throughout my years of network marketing
that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link.  Developing a strong
link between business and people, products and up line training systems
is a learning process and will help you with developing and cultivating
networking business and the goal of realizing your dreams and financial
security that you are in search of.

One of my favorite authors, John C, Maxwell, wrote in his book,
Developing the Leader Within You, that leadership means to influence
others.  He says, "Everyone talks about it; few understand it.  Most people
want it; few achieve it."  This is so profound.  He defines leadership as the
ability to get followers.  Many think that having the ability to get followers
makes them great leaders or shall I say put them in a leadership position.

Can We Talk?

Let’s get real.  The first step is to be honest, beginning with self.  There is nothing as sweet as having a clear conscience.  In this world of competitiveness, people are sometimes tempted to cast all ethical considerations aside.  They somehow think that playing by the rule of “anything goes” will win for them.  They couldn’t be further from the truth.

What people fail to realize, especially leaders, is that they are jeopardizing far more than they imagine.  They stand to lose the respect of their peers.  When you lose respect, your integrity is compromised.  Integrity is the first thing that people look for in a leader especially if you are contemplating doing business with that person.  If your integrity is a no-show, you run the risk of losing highly competent people that can move your business to the next level.

There are people out there who have made a profit by taking advantage of those who are in a traditional business.  However, in network marketing this kind of behavior is not tolerated.  People will, “chew you up, spit you out and leave you and leave you in the dust” it they even sense that your integrity is shady.  No one likes shady characters and they definitely don’t like to be made a fool of.

Another step in getting real is having a clear understanding of trust.  Trust is a very important element in building relationships, especially if you are trying to build a strong link between yourself as the upline leader and your team to move your business in a positive direction.  If people trust you, the sky is the limit as to what they will do for you

The bottom line is, having integrity and being trustworthy is what will attract people to you and your business.  With that said, "get real."  Be honest with yourself and others.  After all, it is the best policy.

To your success,
