MLM Leadership – Do You Influence Others?

I have heard the saying throughout my years of network marketing
that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link.  Developing a strong
link between business and people, products and up line training systems
is a learning process and will help you with developing and cultivating
networking business and the goal of realizing your dreams and financial
security that you are in search of.

One of my favorite authors, John C, Maxwell, wrote in his book,
Developing the Leader Within You, that leadership means to influence
others.  He says, "Everyone talks about it; few understand it.  Most people
want it; few achieve it."  This is so profound.  He defines leadership as the
ability to get followers.  Many think that having the ability to get followers
makes them great leaders or shall I say put them in a leadership position.

Kathleen Ayers | Press Release: Law of Attraction - Money As It Relates To Success

When we talk about the law of attraction as it relates to money and success, I wonder what signals are we sending to the universe?

I have heard the statement most of my childhood that money is the root of all evil.  I am sure that the people who uttered these words had no idea about the affect these words played on the psychic.  Some have said, “Oh no!  It is the love of money that is the root of all evil”.  If you take a look back at events that involved scandalous amounts of money where people were scammed and lost fortunes because of greed or unhealthy love of money, there might be some truth to this statement of money being the root of all evil.  If you look at the people that were scammed, was it their love of money that caused them to take part in such schemes and then ignored all the red flags that signaled, “SCAM!”?   You be the judge.

I believe all of us love money and we love how it makes us feel successful.  We just love having it around for all the things it can do for us.  So, what can we say about the law of attraction as it relates to money and success.  First of all, let’s be perfectly clear that if we want to attract things that are good, wonderful and wholesome in our  lives, we must be on the same wavelength as those things, whether it is money, success, happiness or whatever it is we desire.

Kathleen Ayers | Press Release: MLM Leadership - The Importance of Availability

Hello! Where are you? Are you available? These are question that some networkers are constantly asking and trying to find answers to.

We have been in MLM network marketing for many years and have observed many things, events and habits in our networking. One observation that stood out in my mind was the availability of some of my leaders.  We all know that when you are new to an opportunity, some of us need a little help from your leaders. What if leaders were not available to help get us off to a good start with our business?

I have experienced this kind of absence from some of my leaders during my MLM marketing career. They were always busy doing other things or attending to other people on the team. Trust me. I was not one of those people that needed her hand held. I just needed a little extra expert information to help me succeed. Some of my leaders simply were not available to me. This unavailability forced me to become a student of my business and to reach out to others who had the time to give me the help that I needed.  I was that student known as the person that no one had to worry about because I was a student of my business. But, even the best of students need help with some things.

Kathleen Ayers | Press Release: Intrinsic Motivation - How Driven Are you?

"Motivation is the spark that lights the fire of knowledge and fuels the engine of accomplishment.  It maximizes and maintains momentum."     Zig Ziglar

I have heard all my life, "If you really want to be successful in every facet of your life, you have to reach deep within yourself and tap into an emotion that drives you."  This deep emotion is call intrinsic motivation.

So, what is intrinsic motivation?  Intrinsic motivation refers to motivation that is driven by an interest or enjoyment in the task itself, and exists within the individual rather than relying on external pressures or a desire for reward.

I didn't understand this until I came face to face with some challenges I thought were standing in the way of my success as a young entreprenuer.  When I began to tap into these emotions that were so deep and powerful, I became relentless and unstoppable in achieving the goals that I set for my business and for myself as well.  They were emotions that propelled me to affirm daily to do whatever it took to realize my goals and dreams.

Kathleen Ayers | Press Release: You Tube Marketing - Are There Alternatives?

Internet marketing can take on many different forms, and video marketing is one of the most popular. After all, the internet allows for a multi-media experience, and people like watching videos. However, YouTube has recently started to remove marketing videos from its site, so there is a need for YouTube alternatives for marketing.

There is no question that YouTube is the most popular video sharing site online, and will likely remain at the top for a long time to come. What this means is that you should still make use of YouTube if at all possible, but you need to make sure you go about it the right way. The key is to avoid any overt marketing in your videos. This includes the content of the video as well as the information you add when you upload your videos. If you do it right you will be able to keep your videos on YouTube, but it's still smart to have a few alternatives ready to go if your account gets shut down.  Below are a couple that you can use.  Try them out.

1.  Brightcove.com
Brightcove does things a little differently because it allows you to basically create your own online TV station. It's easy to do and you can add your own videos as well as videos created by other people. The cool part is that it's syndicated with other popular video sites on the internet. The ability to earn additional income through ad revenue or video sales is just the icing on the cake.

2.  Dailymotion.com
Dailymotion is one of the best known YouTube alternatives for marketing, and it has a lot to offer those who have an online business presence. You can easily upload videos, but there is more to it than that. There is also a B2B (business-to-business) feature called the Dailymotion Cloud that helps you to use video for your marketing purposes. The player can be customized for your users, and it allows your videos to be viewed on a variety of platforms.

If you are looking for YouTube alternatives for marketing you don't have to rely on video-only websites. In fact, just about any site that supports videos can be used for marketing purposes, though you may have to use your own bandwidth to host your videos. Social networking sites are some of the best alternatives because people use them to share things with each other, and if they're sharing your video, then that means your marketing message is spreading.

To your success

Blogs – Are You Following These Basics?

It seems that whenever we surf the internet, we see blogs, blogs and more blogs.  They are everywhere!  Go ahead, test it for yourself and see what I am talking about!  Just type the word blog into any search engine and see what happens.  You will see is millions of results for the word blog.  Because the popularity of blogs is still increasing, people have deemed them as reliable sources of information. This is because a lot of blogs are created by normal every day people.  But in the same aspect businesses also create blogs to increase traffic to their websites.
What if you run into factors that are unreliable?  How do you go about fixing these unreliable factors?  For starters, it is suggested that all bloggers should adhere to a natural set of blogging rules. These are rules that are not in any way set in stone, but they are basic rules that anyone should follow.  Most of your rules should follow the blogging ethics guidelines as these are a very important set of ethics to follow.  In applying the rules to your blog there are 5 basic rules you should apply to your own site.

1. Check your facts
This is a very important rule and it just makes sense.  Make sure you check your facts before posting anything on your blog. Do some research on your topic and make sure the information that you have is correct. Doing basic research can save you from posting false information.  When you post false information you will look bad and you will lose visitors to your site.  Even after you have posted your blog check and make sure everything is correct. The more you check your facts the better off you will be. This is something I do constantly with what I post on blog.  Information and the internet are constantly changing and we have to move with that change.

Kathleen Ayers | Press Release: Networking Without Being Fake: Follow These 8 Tips

I have attended many MLM marketing events where there were a lot of networking going on. Some people in the industry were clueless when it came to networking.  It was a constant pitch about their businesses and why I should be on their team.  If I looked as though I was not interested, they did not have time for me. They were not interested in connecting and maybe finding out who I was as a person and what my business was about or just to know if I had business.  Who knew?  Maybe I knew someone that would have been a good fit for what they were promoting.

As business entrepreneurs, whether online or offline, we need to revisit some good old fashioned "Face-to-face" type networking where it was not unusual to find people "Schmoozing" or "Rubbing elbows" with other entrepreneurs while building and establishing a rapport with one another.  But, we need to be empowred with some basics on how to do this kind of networking without looking like we are faking it.
